I am writing to add my voice in commending the Canadian government for denying Paul Rusesabagina a platform to speak to the youth in Winnipeg. John Rukumbura’s efforts to have Rusesabagina denied a platform at the event were rewarded. 

It’s a victory for all Rwandans, especially Genocide survivors at Hotel Milles Collines. 

Many were excited when confirmation was received that his invitation had been rescinded.  It is important for the Lantos Foundation and any other organisation to gather enough information about this man.   One thing is clear though; Rwandans would not tolerate Rusesabagina anymore.
