TEAM Rwanda hope to finish their African Cycling Championship on a high when they compete in the third and final stage; continental road cycling championship this morning in Asmara-Eriteria.

Adrien Niyonshuti, Gasore Hategeka, Nicodem Habiyambere, Nathan Byukusenge and Joseph Bizimuremyi will race in the grueling 146km stage.

Rwanda finished sixth in the team trial race while Adrien Niyonshuti came 9th in the individual time trial phase.

The South African based rider came in fourth place in the same race last year.

From Eritrea, the team will head straight into camp ahead of the upcoming Tour of Rwanda.
