Just about time when her fans were beginning to question her whereabouts, gospel artiste Gaby Irene Kamanzi, or simply known by her stage name, Gabby, has informed The Sunday Times that she is busy with her upcoming album.
"I am almost done with its (the album’s) branding and other works on it; I hope to launch it by the end of this year, and my fans should expect a lot. "
She however has not named the 11 track debut album, which will also feature her early hit singles, like "Wowe Muremyi (2009).”
Gaby has lately been inconsistent on the music scene, since her 2009 hit Amahoro; not even after joining The Sisters, a four-girl group that includes big names in gospel music, like Aline Gahongayire and Tonzi.
The songstress rose to fame in 2009 after releasing Amahoro, though she had been in the spotlight even before, as she was working with veteran singer Aime Uwimana.
She also joins the already packed schedule of musicians planning to launch their albums late this year.
