KARONGI- Two students in Karongi District are reported to have given birth at the end of the national examinations yesterday.

One of the girls, who is currently receiving treatment at Kibuye Hospital, had a still birth.

It is alleged that panic and fear of exams may have caused the miscarriage leading to premature birth.

The second girl said she was happy upon giving birth to her new born child.

"I was forcefully impregnated and the pain I bore is worth the reward of a healthy bouncing baby,”  the girl who gave her name only as Imanishimwe said.
