Born in 1976 in Nairobi Kenya, DJ Adams started spinning discs as a profession in 1994 in the same city. He has played music as a deejay in several "clubs” in Kigali city before landing on the City FM job which he has kept for close to four years now.
The Deejay’s popularity is however mixed up with controversies especially from local artists whom he has rebuked or exposed live on air.
Adams made a couple of "enemies” around early 2010, when he started his famous anti-piracy "campaign” where he exposed artistes and audio producers who stole foreign beats for their own recordings.
At the same time, he generated fame from fans who felt that they had been fooled for so long. Most artistes were influenced to give up on beat theft and be creative.
