RWANDA will face Nigeria in the second round of the 2013 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) due to be held in South Africa.

The Draw for the 2013 Orange Africa Cup of Nations was conducted on Friday by the sub-committee of the Africa Cup of nations organising committee in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

Forty Six countries will be engaged in the qualification round while South Africa, the host country qualifies automatically for the tournament.

Only 16 teams that qualified to CAN Orange 2012 will get an automatic bye from the first two rounds and enter directly in the final round of qualifiers that begins after CAN Orange 2012.

Last year, Rwanda qualified for the second edition of CHAN, a tournament for set players who feature in their respective domestic leagues but never progressed past the group stage.

Match dates for the preliminary round are due in the first half of 2012 and exact dates will be communicated by CAF before the end of the year.
