IMPALA Titans captain Bob Bashir Songa has laughed off Kigali Cricket Club claiming that the four-time Sulfo league champions are short of good batsmen, bowlers and fielders.

The two sides will clash for the first time this Sunday at Kicuriko cricket oval in the second match of the round-robin stage and Songa, one of three national team players in the side, is adamant his side will win comfortably.

"With all due respect to KCC, I think we will beat them hands down. We are a better side in all departments,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kagarama won the girls’ schools cricket title for a fourth consecutive time after beating arch-rivals Apred Ndera by four wickets.

In the boys’ final, Kagarama beat Lycee de Kigali by five wickets. Kagarama also dominated the prize giving ceremony scooping three awards; Harry Gakire (best batsman), Theo Gatera (best bowler) and Didier Manzi (best fielder). Lycee de Kigali’s Clinton Rubagumya claimed the Man of Series award.
