On coming back, the Primus Guma Guma Superstar 2011 commended Bralirwa and East African Promoters for the opportunity he was given to record a song with internationally renowned Dancehall artiste.
The 21-year-old Jamaican-American singer recently performed in Rwanda, courtesy of Bralirwa.
Close said that the experience he gained from the U.S will be very helpful in moulding his personal talent and to the local music scene.
"What I realised from there is that music cannot be done by only one person. There, artistes have very big teams which help them to become stars. They have people who write for them songs, do the melodies, among other things. Unlike us who do all the stuff ourselves,” Close said.
Close also recorded a song entitled ‘Do Me Like That’ with American singer/ actress Lamyia Good.
Both songs are expected to hit the music stores before the end of the year.
However, the ‘Mbwira yego’ star, who insists that music is his passion not career, said that while he enjoyed the trip, he was more worried about his studies.
"Right now I am more concerned about my studies than any thing else. I am in my final year, which means I have to concentrate on the studies in order to graduate as a qualified doctor,” Close said.
