East African Golf challenge team named

A ten-man team has been named for next month’s East African Golf Challenge. The four-day tournament will tee-off on November 8 at Arusha’s Gymkhana Golf Course in Tanzania.The team, which is working with professional golfer Jean Baptista Hakizimana, includes Leonard Nkurunziza, Jules Mutesa, Patrick Uwumukiza, Aphrodis Nyirinkwaya, Paul Uwitonze, Francois Habimana, Joseph Semwaga, Emmanuel Rutayisire, Emmanuel Habineza and Celestin Habineza.

The team, which is working with professional golfer Jean Baptista Hakizimana, includes Leonard Nkurunziza, Jules Mutesa, Patrick Uwumukiza, Aphrodis Nyirinkwaya, Paul Uwitonze, Francois Habimana, Joseph Semwaga, Emmanuel Rutayisire, Emmanuel Habineza and Celestin Habineza.

In last year’s edition held in Kigali, Rwanda finished third behind Uganda and Kenya. Tanzania finished fourth.
