I appreciate the services of the Energy, Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA) and their continued efforts to ensure that more Rwandans are connected to water and national power grid. 

However, I am also disappointed with the public utility body for the frequent power blackouts within Rubavu town and its environs. I also wish to raise concern over the power tariffs that I consider high and especially the monthly compulsory charges levied yet the power consumed is pre-paid.

How can somebody rarely use power due to recurrent power outrages and still be charged for it? I herein express my displeasure hoping that the utility firm addresses it so that we can equally enjoy the service like other citizens.
