Dear editor, It beats my understanding to see ‘some’ army vehicles time and again breaking petty road traffic laws. It is clearly laid out that these laws are for all citizens to follow. Dear editor,
It beats my understanding to see ‘some’ army vehicles time and again breaking petty road traffic laws. It is clearly laid out that these laws are for all citizens to follow. I have witnessed several army vehicles disrespecting traffic lights, overtaking in dangerous corners and driving recklessly
.In the long run, we shall have taxi drivers doing the same and believe me, that will be the beginning of numerous and uncalled for accidents in our country. I’m therefore asking the traffic police to be impartial and treat all traffic law offenders in the same way regardless of whether one is an army officer or a government official.
In fact, I would request these people should set an example to the rest.
