Aline Gahongaire is among Rwanda’s famous singers. The 25-year-year old gospel artiste started her music journey at the tender age of 12, singing in the Asaph church choir at Zion Temple.Aline managed to shine in 2008 after releasing her debut album and subsequent singles like the wonder-hit, Imanvu. She also featured in the local soap opera, “Ikigeragezo” that increased her fan base.

She is also part of "The Sisters”, a gospel group that includes big names in gospel music like, Gabby, Tonzi and Fanny.
Gahongayire has been nominated to several local and regional awards, including the EA Music Awards and the local "Salax”, where she was the "Best Gospel” artist for 2010.
She is currently eying this year’s, Ugandan PAM Awards for Rwanda’s best female singer, come November.
Inspired by her grandmother who was a good cultural dancer, Aline has achieved considerable success in the music industry.
