Most times we are afraid of the criticism that comes after accomplishment; we end up playing mediocre roles for fear of disapproval or exposure of our weaknesses.
Instead of confronting our challenges and problems head on, we avoid them. And this is how success is delayed or completely avoided, in the end; excuses come in as consolation.
We are reluctant to initiate things (projects, programmes, ideas, businesses so on and so forth), perhaps out of the fear that one time we may run out of motivation or ideas to continue building on what is already achieved, thereby resulting in the collapse of the whole initiative and get disgraced as a result.
This has kept several away from responding to their calling in life because they prefer to stay the comfort zones.
Fear of public opinion and judgment is yet another reason most people are scared of success. Fear of what society will think or say about us, gives us strong reason to keep backstage rather than come out in the limelight and get examined.
Also, there is the fear that accomplishment may cause tension between us and family members (or friends).Usually success expands the distance between close people.
For example; your friends may begin treating you with indifference, jealousy or even rejection after you excel at doing something. So, for fear of losing them, you would rather remain with the mediocre bundle.
Success only comes to those who are high-spirited and ready to overcome their fears, those who care little about public judgment or thought and are not derailed by prejudice.
Success is for those who maintain humility and quiet confidence after achievement, and do not become arrogant and indispensable.
Successful people are positive minded in every situation and are ready to accept themselves as successful.
