The two-day meeting which starts this morning at Lemigo Hotel has attracted representatives from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Solidarity Olympic and the Association of National Olympic committees of Africa (ANOCA).
The president of the National Olympic Committee Dr. Charles Rudakubana yesterday said that the meeting which was convened by the Games’ organising committee is aimed at bringing the best out of participating countries.
"The organizers want the Games to be competitive so they will offer advice on how best countries can prepare their athletes,” Rudakubana said.
The list of participating countries includes Algeria, Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Comoros, Congo Brazzaville, DRC, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Gabon, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Niger Sao Tome, Senegal, Chad, Togo and Tunisia.
