I would like to express my sorrow following the death of Apple founder, Steve Jobs who passed away yesterday after a lengthy battle with cancer.

A tech-savvy country like Rwanda is equally devastated by the death of one of the most iconic persons of our time.

Steve Jobs brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enriched and improved lives. Rwandans who know or have used Apple products can testify to this.

 The world is immeasurably better because of Steve Jobs’ innovation and his loss will surely leave a mark on the technology world.

His vision, innovation and shrewdness will remain in the eyes of many.

Rwandans would like to join the rest of the world to mourn this iconic figure that went away too soon. Rest in Peace Steve Jobs.
