Ecole de Science de Musanze, in collaboration with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency-JICA, held a science and technology festival to exhibit the duo’s scientific innovations. During the festival, JICA team demonstrated the use of a series of technology products, including robots, washing machines, construction machines, milking instruments and harvesting machines.

During the festival, JICA team demonstrated the use of a series of technology products, including robots, washing machines, construction machines, milking instruments and harvesting machines.
The festival also featured soap making, water purification, and line tracing using computer programming.
The school’s headmaster, Jean Claude Mbonimpa, said that the school embarked on practical lessons in an effort to promote science and technology among students.
"This is a way of stimulating students’ dreams; we want students to learn what to do and how to do it practically. Science should largely be practical if it has to be useful to us,’’ Mbonimpa said.
The school had previously inaugurated a computer laboratory with 45 computers donated by Korea International Cooperation Agency-KOICA.
