"We want to end the campaign on a high and also restore confidence in the team,” the Wasps interim coach Eric Nshimiyimana said.
Seven professionals in Bokota Labama Kamana (DC Motema Pembe, DRC), Mao Kalisa (DC Motema Pembe, DRC), Charles Tibingana (Proline, Uganda), Andrew Buteera (Proline), Haruna Niyonzima (Yanga, Tanzania), Jean Marie Rusingizandekwe (Marines reserve team, Belgium) and Elias Uzamukunda (AS Cannes, France), were called up for the qualifier.
Rwanda are bottom of Group H with three points. Ivory Coast top the Group with 16 points while Burundi and Benin have four points apiece.
