AMAVUBI fans will feel delighted by latest reports linking Rotamir Dujković to the national senior men’s football team job.

Dujković has given the clearest indication that he is ready to return as Amavubi coach after submitting his CV to the local football body, Ferwafa.

The 65-year-old is one of ten candidates for the hot seat but Ferwafa vice president Raoul Gisanura yesterday pointed out that the body is looking for someone who will give them instant results.

"We need to be very careful when choosing the next coach because we want someone who has the experience and hunger to deliver success in the short run,” Gisanura said.

Amavubi’s interim coach Eric Nshimiyimana, APR coach Ernest Brandts and Rayon Sport coach Jean Marie Ntagwabira are some of the other candidates for the post.

Ntagwabira was Dujkovic’s assistant when Rwanda made their maiden appearance to the Africa Nations Cup back in 2004.

The Amavubi job fell vacant early last month after Sellas Tetteh’s resignation following a series of poor results. The new coach will be named after the team’s final 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Benin on October 8.
