I would like to inquire why the Kigali City Council authorities opted to repaint the newly installed street-lights white, while removing the lower blue coat.

I think this was uncalled for as the blue and white colours made the poles look more colourful. The white only paint looks dreary. And since the KCC logo is mainly blue, this should have been more outstanding.

Yesterday, I also observed that the white coat has begun to peel off, in addition to being exposed to mud, car smoke and dust making the white look dirty.
