Machine Gun Preacher
The true story of Sam Childers (Gerard Butler); a drug addict biker who, thanks to the encouragement of his faithful wife (Michelle Monaghan), finds God and becomes a born-again Christian.

After a minister from the Sudan visits his church, Sam decides to volunteer for a few months. Once there, he witnesses the unspeakable atrocities committed by Joseph Kony’s ‘Lord’s Resistance Army’, and vows to build an orphanage in the middle of the area most ravaged by war, and to fight Kony’s army with deadly force of his own.
