To mark the International Day of Peace, the National Unity and Reconciliation Commission (NURC) together with other partners organized a walk to celebrate and advocate for continued peace.

The Peace Day walk united Rwandans and friends of Rwanda from all walks of life.

The NURC Executive Secretary, Jean Baptiste Habyalimana called for all Rwandans to be "peacemakers in all aspects of their lives and wherever they go.”

Several local musicians convened at the stadium where crowds gathered to celebrate in a concert for peace.
