Alpha to share stage with Shaggy, Eve, Cabo Snoop

Rwanda’s Alpha Rwirangira is set to perform alongside international stars including Angolan sensation Cabo Snoop, American female rapper Eve and Jamaican-American legend Shaggy, at the Tusker All Stars Concert to be held at Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi, Kenya on October 1.

Alpha is among the Tusker All Stars finalists that also include Peter Msechu of Tanzania and Davis Ntare from Uganda, who won the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share a stage with internationally renowned musicians.

The  concert is slated for next Saturday and, gates would be open at 12pm (Kenyan time). Performances start at 2pm, with a yet to be announced line-up of top Kenyan artistes and dance crews, who will join the Tusker All Stars finalists on stage.

A wholesome entertainment experience is expected over cold Tusker beers and great food.

The 2011 Edition dubbed Tusker All Stars—TAS, kicked off June 26 2011, reuniting eight former Tusker Project Fame contestants, who were chosen to compete for fame. The contestants were Hemedi Suleiman and another Tanzanian fan-favourite Peter Msechu, Uganda's Davis Ntare and dance-diva Caroline Nabulime.

Kenyan contestants were Amileena Mwenesi, Bernard Ng'ang'a 'Ng'ang'alito' and Patricia Kihoro, as well as Rwanda's Alpha Rwirangira.

Initially, East African Breweries Ltd (EABL), the official organiser of the event had promised that the finalists would get a chance to perform with American stars Usher Raymond and Keri Hilson on August 20, but it had to be cancelled, because the duet turned down the offer.
