AMAVUBI have dropped four places to 142 in the latest Fifa world rankings.It is Rwanda’s lowest rating, and the first time they have dropped out of the top 140, since 2001.They also slipped down to seventh position in the Cecafa region with Burundi, Ethiopia and Kenya all rising above them.

AMAVUBI have dropped four places to 142 in the latest Fifa world rankings.

It is Rwanda’s lowest rating, and the first time they have dropped out of the top 140, since 2001.

They also slipped down to seventh position in the Cecafa region with Burundi, Ethiopia and Kenya all rising above them.

The team also dropped to 38th on the continent while Ivory Coast, who inflicted a 5-0 drubbing against the former early this month, held their grip at the top despite dropping by one slot to 16 on the global list.

Egypt are second with a world ranking of 36 followed by Ghana (37), Burkina Faso (41), Senegal (42), Nigeria (43), Algeria (46), Cameroon (48), South Africa (51) and Morocco (59).

The biggest climbers for the month are Estonia after climbing 28 positions to 58 in the world. On the other hand, Moldova is the biggest loser after dropping 34 places to 122.

Spain regained its number one ranking in the world from the Netherlands who are now ranked second. Germany is third followed by Uruguay, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, England, Croatia and Argentina.

The next rating will be announced on October 19.
