THE local football governing body, Ferwafa executive committee will convene this morning to brainstorm on the way forward following sudden resignations of two top officials.

The body’s president (Brig. Gen. Jean Bosco Kazura) and Chief Executive Officer (Jules Kalisa) stepped down this week.

According to Ferwafa’s Vice President Raoul Gisanura, the committee will decide on who takes over temporarily ahead of the elections.

Kalisa, who joined the body back in 1999, quit his position on Thursday, just over 24 hours after Kazura’s resignation.

While Kazura stepped down due to personal reasons, Kalisa blamed a hostile working environment for his resignation.
