BUGESERA— Five children who were recently admitted at Bugesera Hospital, after allegedly eating poisoned food have been discharged, health officials said.

The children ranging from 6 and 20 years of age are all members of Bernard Kayitare’s family. A sixth, 25-year old Vestine Mukabutera died instantly.

Police told The New Times Tuesday that three women suspects who were arrested in connection with the incident have been transferred to Rilima government prison pending more investigations.

Jacqueline Mukakagina was arrested on March 8 and to the arrest of two other suspects whose names were not readily available. They are all said to be residents of Twabagarama cell in Juru Sector.
