Tom Close’s trip to the U.S, in which he was expected to record a song alongside its video withJamaican-American singer Sean Kingston, has been postponed until after the concert.

Close, who was crowned the Primus Guma Guma Superstar 2011, was supposed to travel to America, early September, to work on a song with Sean Kingston, which the duo would perform at the grand concert scheduled for September 17.

"It is unfortunate that we had to postpone the Tom Close- Sean Kingston collaboration and reschedule it after the concert because we got his visa a few days to the concert,” Joseph Mushyoma told The New Times.

Sean Kingston is expected to perform at Amahoro Stadium in front of thousands of fans, and Tom Close alongside other Primus Guma Guma Superstar contestants will have the opportunity to share the stage with the star.

The Primus Guma Guma Superstar was organised by Primus in collaboration with East African Promoters (EAP) to offer the best of Rwandan music and its artistes the platform they deserve.

Tom Close received the grand prize of Frw6 million, in addition to a one year contract with Bralirwa as a Primus Beer Ambassador and the chance to have one song produced by renowned Jamaican artiste musician Sean Kingston.
