Seasoned afro-beat singer, Dr Claude, has again dismissed critics that he is not a good musician, compared to his competitors.The "Igikara” singer’s critics base on the fact that he has not released any hits lately, falling out on competition of new comers like King James and Tom Close.

His underperformance at his appearance in the "Primus Guma Guma” gathered more critics. He failed to bring out his "Baramujyanye” single yet he was one of those most familiar with live music aboard.

"Those who say that I cannot sing are just jealous. If at all I can go for the East African music awards and beat International artists in such a competitive category, what about locally?” questions the "Doctor”.
 
He is referring to the recently concluded East African Music Awards in which he won the "afro fusion” category.

The awards had attracted many singers from East Africa, and other new entrants like Southern Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo.

He also blames his early exit from the "Guma Guma” competition on its "biased” organization.

"At the East African Music Awards, professionals judged our performances; so, the results can be trusted, unlike the Guma Guma.”

Dr Claude says that he is more than ready to revive his 2007 domination when he released the wonder-hit "Contre success”. He has already released "I love you so”, a techno-R’&B fusion.
