THE arrival of Amavubi duo of Kalisa Mao and Labama Bokota Kamana was been delayed by another 24 hours. Initially, the pair was supposed to join yesterday but then came the change in the arrangement.
Ferwafa Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa said yesterday, "Both Kalisa and Bokota are joining the camp on Thursday evening ahead of Saturday’s game [against Côte d’Ivoire].”
Another expected professional, France based striker Elias Uzamukunda is also yet to arrive in the country despite the federation having sent him the air ticket.
Sources says the former U-20 striker is still processing travel clearance after his clearance had expired early this week and if he travels with it, he wouldn’t be allowed on French soil without a valid documents.
Meanwhile, Andrew Buteera has recovered from an ankle injury while Eric Ndahayo, who is nursing a hip injury are both set to be fit for Saturday’s game.
Rwanda is placed bottom of Group H with three points, one point behind Burundi and Benin in third and second position while Côte d’Ivoire has already sealed her ticket to 2012 Nations Cup final after accumulating 12 points in four matches played.
