Rwandan recording artiste, Kamichi, is expected to officially release his latest song today.

The long-awaited track ‘Imitoma’ which translates to ‘sweet love words’ was produced by Clement, one of the most highly recognised music producers in the country. 

In the song, Kamichi sings: "Listen to me and I tell you sweet words/ I give you affectionate and tender care. Love is a special and unique gift/ when you love genuinely, you feel great and comfortable.”

The song sounds like one of the star’s earlier tunes that mixed elements of Afrobeat and reggae to create party hits like ‘Aho ruzingiye’ and ‘Mwenyura’.

Apart from singing, Kamichi is a student at Catholic University of Kabgayi, where he is pursuing a degree in Journalism and Communication. He is also a journalist at Voice of Africa VOA
