Like Kalisa, many children eat abnormally during big public holidays like Christmas and Eid day.
It is a common habit for children to eat like it’s their last meal in life, on such occasions.
Other children even refuse to have breakfast on such days with an excuse that they want to live enough space for the special lunch so they can out do themselves.
Usually, all goes well until the end of the day when complaints about food poison and tummy upsets start. This comes as a result of overeating. This habit is unhealthy and only leads to pain in the end. Children shouldn’t therefore get excited over food on such big days. They should eat a normal amount of food like the other ordinary days.
The best trick to avoid being a culprit on such days is to eat plenty of fruits before lunch and drink water or juice. This will help you eat a reasonable amount of food hence keeping healthy. Enjoy your Eid-El-Fitr and stay healthy!!!!
