Easter is just on our finger tips; we are really ready to have fun on this day. Some of us have even planned for the day and we are looking forward to finishing exams and go for it.
Easter is just on our finger tips; we are really ready to have fun on this day. Some of us have even planned for the day and we are looking forward to finishing exams and go for it.
The pupils of Harvest primary school I talked to have this to say on the Easter day:
Easter is the day when Jesus rose from the death. Easter day is a special one that makes us feel happy. We go to church with our parents, play different games with our friends and visit relatives and friends.
Our parents buy us new clothes, shoes and other Easter gifts that is why we find it interesting and fun to celebrate the resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ.
Dear children, eating, dressing, dancing, etc, is not all we have to do. As Christians this day also reminds us how we should behave as children.
Jesus as our good example calls us to behave and be victorious. We should obey our parents and keep discipline as Jesus did.
When he was a child Jesus was a well discipline child who didn’t fight with other children. He used to respect people and always spoke well about people.
Children who fight other children and those who insult people should learn a good lesson from Jesus. Happy Easter day to you all!
