Cogebanque Plc on Tuesday rewarded the first 13 winners in the ongoing ‘Tugendane na Cogebanque’ campaign.
Tugendane na Cogebanque 2023 was launched in early February 2023 and was amplified during the Tour du Rwanda 2023 cycling tournament with a goal to mobilize Rwandans to access financial services in a way that leads to a sustainable economy. Not only clients are included in this campaign but also the Cogebanque agents.
The campaign aims to increase the uptake of Cogebanque’s online banking platforms that include mobile banking (USSD: *505, Mobile application "Coge mBank”), Cogebanque Mastercards and Smart Cash cards and other retail banking services like deposits,etc.
The bank also encourages the public to seek services from its agent network spread out in all parts of the country as means to facilitate them in getting Cogebanque services without necessarily going to the branches.
The 13 lucky customers of the month of February won a smartphone, laptop Modem, fridge, smart television sets and a motorcycle.
"I am happy that I won a smart TV, I used to listen to news on radio but now I am going to be watching and following live news updates on my television,” said Sebukwangari Ngirabatware, an agent from Gatsibo district.
Joselyne Mushimire, won a motorcycle and said that she was extremely excited when she heard the news that she had emerged among the winners and would be going home with the biggest prize.
"I’m very happy to win this bike, I have been a Cogebanque client for seven years using most of its services especially Coge mBank,” Mushimire said after receiving her motorcycle
She added: "This motorbike will help me in many ways including generating income for me. What I can tell my fellow Rwandans, especially women, is to join Cogebanque. The bank’s services are impeccable.”
Antoine Iyamuremye, the Head of Marketing and Product Development at Cogebanque said: "I encourage people to continue using and enjoying these services, we&039;re near the end of this two-month campaign and I keep telling our clients to continue using these services.”
"At the end of this month we will be back here rewarding the lucky winners of the month of March, so I encourage our clients to use their account actively to be able to win these prizes,” Iyamuremye further noted.”
