I would like to appeal to the Ministry of Health and Kigali City Council to continue monitoring the hygiene businesses. The Ministry of Health has been spearheading this move that has seen a number of businesses shut down until they meet the required minimum standards. 

While the intention is not to close down businesses, health should be a priority. If the businesses are putting health of the people at risk, they should not be allowed to operate.

Campaigns to sanitize the public on the basic hygiene standards should be increased.

Furthermore, concerned authorities should set up hotlines where people can call or send messages in case they come across situations that put one’s health at risk.
