Rwanda targets silverware in EAC Post Primaries

RWANDA’S representatives at the 10th edition of the East African post primaries have been challenged to upstage their opponents.The Games will run from August 27 to September 4 in Western Uganda (Mbarara) and Rwanda is set to compete in seven disciplines; basketball, football, volleyball, netball, handball, rugby and athletics.

RWANDA’S representatives at the 10th edition of the East African post primaries have been challenged to upstage their opponents.

The Games will run from August 27 to September 4 in Western Uganda (Mbarara) and Rwanda is set to compete in seven disciplines; basketball, football, volleyball, netball, handball, rugby and athletics.

The Executive Secretary of the Schools Sport federation Florent Rwigema is confident Rwanda will shine in football, handball and volleyball.

"Last year, we won the girls’ football trophy but I believe we are better prepared this time round.”
