Bralirwa Ltd, Rwanda’s leading manufacturer of soft drinks and beer is set to have a new commercial director. Mr Alexander Koch, the outgoing commercial director is set to leave Bralirwa Ltd by September this year after his four year tour of duty in Rwanda to join Heineken operations in Greece.
Bralirwa Ltd, Rwanda’s leading manufacturer of soft drinks and beer is set to have a new commercial director. Mr Alexander Koch, the outgoing commercial director is set to leave Bralirwa Ltd by September this year after his four year tour of duty in Rwanda to join Heineken operations in Greece.
The outgoing commercial director, joined Bralirwa in November 2007 after having occupied several senior commercial positions within the marketing, trade marketing and sales disciplines within Bralirwa’s parent company Heineken NV.
"It has been a great pleasure to work in Rwanda for almost four years. The country is going through some fast and visible positive changes and business dynamism has been very interesting. The team spirit within Bralirwa Ltd has been a great inspiration and motivation,” Koch said in a press release, adding that, "it has been a great journey to successfully steer the commercial department and bring enjoyment to our consumers with our world class Rwandan brands,” he added.
Mr. Koch is switching positions with Mr. Jan van Velzen at the Athenian Brewaries in Greece. The press release states that, Van Velzen, 38, is expected to take up the position of Sales and Marketing Director at Bralirwa Ltd effective August 22nd. He is a Dutch national and holds a Master degree in Business Administration.
