INDORWA lived up to their pre-final favorites tag as they thrashed Strikers by 52 runs yesterday to win the inaugural Robotics T20 Cup at Kicukiro oval.
Batting first, Harshad Sharma (38), Patel Nayan (23) and an unbeaten 28 from Mihir Solanki helped Indorwa to a defendable score of 132runs.
In response, Strikers could only manage 80 runs, thanks to Nayan who four quick wickets. Solanki also weighed in with three.
On top of the man of the match award, Nayan also picked up the Man of Series accolade.
Laite Kumar was voted best bowler while Impala Titans duo Bob Songa Bashir and Francis Tumukunde were named best batsman and fielder respectively.
Challengers, Right Guards, Kicukiro College of Technology (KCT), Kigali Cricket Club (KCC), Victory Cricket Club and National University of Rwanda (NUR) are the other teams which took part in the four-week tournament.
