AMAVUBI coach Sellas Tetteh has more attacking options following the arrival of Proline pair Andrew Buteera and Charles Mwesigye Tibingana.

The wasps are preparing for next month’s crunch 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Ivory Coast and need to score goals if they are to revive their hopes of qualifying.

The junior wasps’ players jetted in last night and are expected to have their first training session this afternoon.

While Buteera brings a new dimension in midfield, Tibingana provides pace on the wings.

The other professionals; Haruna Niyonzima, Patrick Mafisango, Kalisa Mao, Bokota Labama and Elias Uzamukunda will join camp on August 29.

Rwanda find themselves in a difficult position after losing three; Ivory Coast (0-3), Benin (0-3) and Burundi (1-3), of their opening four qualifiers.

With three points to their name, the wasps lie at the bottom of the group, a point adrift of Benin and Burundi and nine short of the Elephants, who are already through after a run of four successive wins.

To sneak through, Rwanda need to win their remaining games (Ivory Coast and Benin) and pray that results in the other group ties (Ivory Coast vs Burundi and Benin and Burundi) go their way.

After a one-week training camp in Holland (Sport Park Riekerhaven), Ivory Coast will jet in on September 1, two days before the crucial match which will be staged at Amahoro Stadium.

The 2012 Nations Cup will be jointly held by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
