Editor, I was happy to read in The New Times yesterday, that President Paul Kagame will be visiting France next month. I live in France and I have been an ardent follower of the progress Rwanda has made over the last 17 years. Many people thought that Rwanda would never recover from the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, and while a lot of progress has been made, the media here hardly cover the tremendous change, though, in the last ten years, the information on Rwanda published on the internet has helped people realize that something great is coming out of the country.
Editor,
I was happy to read in The New Times yesterday, that President Paul Kagame will be visiting France next month.
When President Sarkosy was in Rwanda last year we saw the start of a new dawn. And, President Kagame’s visit will build on this and hopefully, my countrymen and women will learn more about Rwanda’s success story.
I have no doubt that after Kagame’s visit we will see more tourists and investors picking interest in Rwanda, just as other European countries have done.
I wish President Paul Kagame safe journey and good stay while in France.
