Kagame lauds deceased Nigerian General

ABUJA - President Paul Kagame yesterday paid tribute to the Late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, brother to current Nigerian President, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua for his visionary leadership. Kagame made the remarks at the 9th Commemoration of the Late Major General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua. “I begin by thanking the President for the kind invitation to join you here in Abuja and participate in the 9th Annual Commemoration of the Late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua,” Kagame said.

I am particularly honored to address this distinguished audience on the "Challenges of Nation-Building in Africa” – endeavors for which Shehu, as his compatriots and their African brothers and sisters fondly call him, paid with his life.
