HARDLY six weeks after joining Yanga Football Club, Amavubi captain Haruna Niyonzima is already craving for a return to APR.
The 22-year-old winger reportedly signed a two-year-deal with the Kagame Cup champions where it was agreed he would pocket a whopping US$ 30.000 (approx. Rwf18m) and a monthly salary of US$ 1500 (Rwf 0.9m).
However, latest reports indicate that the Tanzanian outfits have refused to honor their contractual obligations.
"All I can tell you is that they (Yanga) have not fulfilled their end of the bargain. I don’t want to go into specifics but I’m considering a return to my former club,” Niyonzima said.
According to APR Secretary General Kalisa Adophe, the club would gladly welcome him back should it come down to that.
"He is an APR ‘child’ so should he decide to come back, we will be happy to receive him,” Kalisa said.
Following his exit, APR wasted no time in signing Ugandan International Dan Wagaluka.
