Queen Ally to take to the stage

The two-time PAM award winner, Queen Ally is said to be preparing to go on tour. The hip-hop star is due to get going on March 15 at the Petit Stadium, Kigali. The tour will then take her to the National University in Butare on March 21.

You might say she had it made long ago,  but the "Unfabulous” singer/ songwriter is determined to make a name for herself by letting her natural singing ability shine through.

The concert tour is in conjunction with the release of her new album, ‘Open Heart’, produced by the Narrow Road Production. The concerts will also feature other favourites including Rafiki, Makonikoswa and Rider Man.

Palm Club owner finds God

The proprietor of one of Kigali’s most booming nightspots, Palm Club, in Remera, was, according to our scouts, recently saved by God in Remera’s Prayer Palace Church.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity one of Prayer Palace’s followers, said the club owner came to church last Sunday.

The reformed has not yet revealed to anyone fresh plans for his nightclub. Perhaps he will dedicate it to services to God… 

Mahoniboni denies love affair

One of the country’s most celebrated rappers, the king of hip hop, Mahoniboni a.k.a 2-Pac, was recently heard denying allegations that he has a girlfriend.

While talking to our scouts, Mahoniboni said, "I was shocked to hear from a presenter from one of the local radio stations, put on air that ‘Mahoniboni and his girlfriend were the hottest couple in town’.”

"Honestly, how can that be when I’m living a single life?”
The rapper said that that the statement was false, and spoke out against radio reporters who air "hear say”.

The brawny rapper later added that, "Anyway, that shouldn’t scare away the ladies. I’m all ready to accept any serious lady who would come to my rescue from the lonely world.”
