"We have signed a number of new players so today’s game is an opportunity for them to blend into the team and for the fans to have a close look at the new signings,” he said.
Some of the new signings include Hussein Mbanze, Juma Mpongo, Tommy Okello, Osama Farouk, Cedric Hamisi and two Nigerians whose identity was yet to be revealed by press time.
Amavubi striker Bokota Labama could also play a cameo role in the match.
Azam has been on a pre-season tour in the region. The Tanzanian giants have played several friendly matches ahead of the Tanzanian Vodacom league which kicks off this Saturday.
On Sunday, they outscored Uganda Super League champions KCC 4-3.
