Rwandan rap star Ish Kevin has announced that he’s far in the production works of his debut album titled ‘BST’ scheduled to be released this year.
The ‘Amakosi’ hit maker announced the development in an interview with The New Times on Monday, March 20, citing future plans of his music career as well as what he has in store for his fans.
"It’s the first time I’m going to release this kind of project in my life and I can’t wait to share with you this masterpiece. It’s one for the books,” the youngster said.
Asked about when the Album will be dropped, he said, "we are now in the middle of the production and we will have its cover out by next week. The release date will be communicated as soon as possible.”
The album, he further noted, will consist of different genres of music and will feature both the young generation and old school artistes.
"We have Nigerians, Rwandan, both young generation and old artistes, we have every big thing in the game right now on this tape. It’s a game changer,” he said, adding that the full meaning of BST will also be announced after the cover release.
The upcoming album from the Drill, Hiphop and Trap specialist follows his fifth extended play ‘Long Way Up’ and ‘Trappish 2’ mixtape which featured big artistes like Ycee of Nigeria.
