Tusker Project Fame Season 4’s contestant Gaelle Atete is set to release three songs with videos this month.

Gaelle may not have had the voice to emerge win of the Tusker Project Fame Season 4, but she had the looks and favour from East Africa, thus securing herself the fifth position, out of 15. The competition was won by Uganda’s Davis Ntare.

This lass nicknamed "The first lady of probation" by Judge Ian Mbugua, survived probation seven times during the Tusker Project Fame Season 4’s and seemed to bounce back even when pitted against stronger contestants, like Rachel Namubiru.

Gaelle, a Law student at Université Libre de Kigali (ULK), describes singing as her passion saying she participated in the Tusker Project Fame 4 to improve her talent.

"Although I did not win the competition, I gained enough experience from the Academy and I learnt how to write my own song compositions, as well as daring the stage and fame across East Africa,” Gaelle said.

The talented singer, songwriter and composer, was born June 17, 1989, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is destined for greater things in the Gospel music scene. Gaelle fuses Rock, Country-music, RnB, Jazz and Zouk with RnB genres. She was sings from Restoration Church.

Although Gaelle has been quiet since her return from the Tusker Project Fame contest, she is due to release three songs along with their videos sometime this month.

She said her music is soon to generate a buzz on radio stations across Rwanda, and hopes to also receive airplay in several other countries including Kenya, Burundi, Uganda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and more.

"I do Gospel music only. But I will soon start composing songs describing problems within our society. Songs that can bring a positive change in the society,” Gaelle said.
