KARONGI- The acting Rector of Kigali Health Institute (KHI), Dr. Chantal Kabagabo, yesterday called for joint efforts from both staff and students to transform the institution into a better learning centre.

Kabagabo vowed to work hard to meet the goal.

"There is need for us to cooperate as we strengthen the institution,” she said, during an tour of the institute’s Karongi campus in the Western Province.

She was mostly impressed with the wide use of modern technology at the campus.

"I am a bit surprised that there is at least one laptop in each room, this is very impressive,” she said.The institute’s main campus is based in Kigali.
