Dear editor,

Allow me to express my heartfelt cry in protest against parents who beat up their children to death. Recently around Kicukiro a man was caught beating his six year old son almost to death.

The reason was based on food, shame on him. That he ate the food without his permission. Even the child ate the food without the instruction of parents, which may be bad manners, the punishment he was subjected too, was very unfortunate.

The young boy is currently under treatment while the father is in prison. I encourage all parents, to bring up their children, with parental love and care; and in the future they will live to appreciate the parents love.
