The 2011/12 second division league and Peace cup tourney will kick off on November 6th and November 29th respectively according to Ferwafa’s Head of Competitions Boniface Nsabimana.

Nyanza won the second division crown last season after defeating Espoir in the play-off final.

This season, 18 clubs will be in contention and they include Union, Esperance, United Stars, Rwamagana, Kirehe, Sorwathe, National University of Rwanda (NUR), Zebra and Aspoir.

The others are Pepiniere, Interforce, Kicukiro’s Sec Academy, Intwari, Nyamata, Etoile de l’Est, Stella Maris, ISAE and Kibuye.

APR won the Peace Cup last season after defeating Police 4-2 in the finals.
