President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s recent four-day state visit to Rwanda underscored the cordial relations that the two neighbouring states enjoy.

Besides being good neigbours, the two countries share a rich culture of traditions and history.

As we celebrate these renewed relations, we would like to thank our two Presidents for going an extra mile to prove naysayers wrong.

A lot has been said about Rwanda and Uganda amid unwarranted speculation.  However, we are all one. Rwandans and Ugandans have for a long time lived together and conducted vibrant business. One just needs to look at the heavy traffic on the Kigali-Kampala route, as well as the number of flights between Kigali and Entebbe.

From trade to blood relations, Rwanda and Uganda are inseparable. We therefore wish to thank our Presidents for strengthening the already flourishing relations between our two countries.
