NYAGATARE - A local leader in Rukomo Sector, Nyagatare District is detained at Gatunda police station over adultery allegations.

According to police, Heritien Sebineza, the in-charge of civil state affairs at the sector was apparently caught ‘red handed’ with another man’s wife.

"He was arrested red handed in a sexual act with another man’s wife. This is a horrible act from someone who is a local leader,” a police official told The Sunday Times.

In interview, scores of area residents said Sebineza had for long been suspected to be committing adultery.

"We have suspected the two for long. This man is a monster. But the truth has been unveiled.,” said Eric Hakizimana, one of the residents.
