The president of the National Women Council (CNF), Oda Gasinzigwa, has called on entrepreneurs and public entities to invest in women development.
She was addressing members of African Women Network for Peace, at ETO Kicukiro at the end of a one-week workshop during which participants drew the network’s new strategic plan.
Gasinzigwa said that though women are doing well in decision-making matters, they were less involved in other developmental areas.
"Women need to get involved in agriculture, education and health sectors so that they are able to develop themselves and the country at large," she said.
Gasinzigwa called upon the NGOs, government agencies and private firms to help promote women and girl’s participation in their respective fields.
